Greetings internet strangers, my name is Jai and I love music. Music has a unique power to convey emotion, feeling no matter the scenario. Grab a pair of headphones and listen to At the River by Groove Armada in line at the post office and you are transported to another world full of sunshine, sand and sea breeze... all whilst waiting for the attendant to find your parcel. It’s like magic!

Since moving back to my childhood home, I have a lot of time on my hands needing to be filled hence I decided to start this blog. These posts and website, written by me, are the product of the world's stimuli filtered through the lens of my brain. That is to say, these are my opinions on music - why someone wants to read them, I don’t know but they are here to read anyway. I hope you enjoy.

Like many others, I joined spotify and fell in love with the ease of making playlists. It used to be a great tool for discovering new music and creating playlists. Now, however, its algorithm operates on a basis of more-of-the-same which doesn’t work for me. I love discovering new music in genres I have never heard of before and spotify doesn’t serve me as well anymore. Irregardless, I link a spotify playlist for you all to peruse - it just looks nice as a footer for my home page.
